Max Desir To Play Haitian Titanic Passenger Joseph Laroche In Titanic The Musical

Nashville Tennesse - Haitian actor Max Desir makes history in his role as Joseph Laroche, the only black AND Haitian passenger onboard the Titanic in the upcoming revival of Titanic the Musical.

This will be the first time that Joseph Laroche will be represented on stage as part of the story of Titanic, Desir said to BroadwayWorld.com.

Boston MPAH 2nd Ed. Haitian Movie Awards Announced

Motion Picture Association of Haiti, Inc (MPAH) is pleased to announce that it will be having its second annual movie award on October 7, 2012 at the prestigious John Hancock Hall in Downtown Boston.

The purpose of the ceremony is to honor the hard work of historically important artists that have been an essential cornerstone in shaping the Haitian movie industry. We will also reward the current efforts of the vibrant talents in the Haitian movie industry today.

Un Plaisir Mortel 2 - Haitian Movie Coming To DVD March 20 2012

Haitian film UM PLAISIR MORTEL will be released on DVD this coming March 20 2012.

This is according to the filmmaker, Dieunette Deliard.

The movie premiered on Sunday November 7th 2010 at the The Julius Littman Performing Arts Theater in North Miami Florida.

Haitian Actor Simon Innocent Aka Nono Is Dead

Last week we told you that Haitian comedian and actor Simon Innocent, famously known as NONO, was in critical condition. Sadly, Simon Innocent did not get the support he had hoped. Nono died Friday, February 10 2012, around 10:00 am, at OFATMA hospital in Port-au-Prince.

In late December 2011, Simon ''NONO' Innocent was admited to a hospital in Cap-Haitien, due to Cirrhosis, a consequence of chronic liver disease most commonly caused by alcoholism. Nono was a heavy drinker, sources say.

Haitian Actor Simon Innocent, Alias NONO, In Critical Condition

Haitian comedian and actor Simon Innocent, famously known as NONO, is hospitalized in OFATMA in Haiti and in critical condition.

In a news report dated Dec 23, 2011, Simon 'NONO' Innocent was hospitalized in Cap-Haitien, due to Cirrhosis, a consequence of chronic liver disease most commonly caused by alcoholism.

Simon Innocent is well know for his comedic roles in Haitian movies such as Alelouya and Chomeco

The funniest part of the deal was... The reseller had no clue that he was actually selling the bootleg DVD movie the actual person who made it... So he runs like a bat out of hell to grap a copy of Dyab Baba #2 to sell to "BABA" LOL...

Funeral Arrangements For Haitian Filmmaker Jean Jacques Roney

Orlando Florida -- Haitian actor and filmmaker Jean Jacques Roney passed away on Thursday, February 2nd, 2012. We have some information about his funeral arrangements.

The Roney family will be receiving friends on Friday, February 10th, 2012 from 5 until 8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. James Catholic Church in Orlando Florida on Saturday, February 11th, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. followed by interment at Winter Garden Cemetery.
