Baz: "When consumers walk into my store they ask 'What's new this week?'... 4 movies come out last month..."

Baz: "African movies are not advertised in the Haitian community... its word of mouth... one person watches it and recommends to others..."

Lionel Beeper: "We make more money selling Haitian movies than african movies but we make more in volume selling African movies..."

Baz: "Some Haitian movies suck... there are lots of African movies that suck too..."

Lionel Beeper: "says is is a reseller... I am a business man... I sell what the public wants..."

Baz: "Gen ampil ipocrizi nan industri ayisyen an... When a small production company released a Haitian movie on DVD the big producers say the movie suck..."

Lionel Beeper: "I Grew up here [In the USA], business is business, to me, all Haitian movies are good... I sell them all..."

Ed Lozama: "Eske endistri siname ayisyen an menace aoz de fim africain?"

Baz: "Well... the haitian producer need to improve quality... and they are too slow to release their movies... I have 3 stores... When consumers walk to my stores I have to have somthing to sell them..."

Baz: "Ou di ti fi paste a 2 soti, li di 'm-genyen-l deja... ou di 'cafe au lait soti, li di 'm-genyen-l deja... If a day goes by like that and I hav enothing to sell them... what am I to do?... m-genyen 3 magazin..."

Lionel Beeper: "Some people buy any Haitian movie that comes out... the bad one last 4 weeks [they both agreed]... The good ones are still selling... "I Love you Anne" is still selling..."

Lionel Beeper: "Haitian movies are selling for up to $80,000..."

Ed Lozama: "What? $80,000?"

Lionel Beeper: "There used to be ONE person who was offering $60,000 an up for haitian movies but that person is no longer buying at that price... So everyone is is holding on to their masters... That person realised that he/she cannot sell enouth DVDs to cover the expenses and make a profit..."

Baz: "so now... the Haitian movie market is at a stand still..."

Baz: "The consumers don't care how much you pay for movies... yo achte a 3 pou $25..."
