Saturday March 29, 2008Posted: 08:24 AM ET  Mora Junior Etienne is back with a new Haitian movie starring Haitian singer Misty Jean and a brand new cast of Haitian actors.
Mora Etienne, as always, has assembled an array of talented and good looking Haitian actors to play in his next film.
Le Prix A Payer (The Price To Pay) is the name of this new Haitian film by Mora Junior Etienne; It is currently in production. Mora is taking his sweet time to bring you a classy and quality Haitian movie.
 Although the Haitian movie industry is still at it's infancy stage, it seems that Haitian consumers are already growing tired of crappy movies, they want quality scenarios and they quality pictures.
A recent drop in Haitian movie sales more than proved it to Haitian filmmakers. Now these Haitian filmmakers are beginning to take the movie business more seriously.
There is no doubt that there has been a serious upgrade in the quality of Haitian films that we have grown accustomed to.
 "I'm taking a step back," says Mora Junior Etienne who usually plays the lead role in his films, "I want to focus more behind the camera."
This time Mora Junior Etienne will not be playing the lead character, instead he is working with an entire new cast and he has spent countless hours with them, to train them, and to get them ready before even rolling the camera.
 I was invited to the last pre-production rehearsal in West Palm Beach, Florida, and I will attest to you that Mora Etienne's production is not a "One Man Show."
The man has a team!
Having had the rare opportunity to witness what goes on behind the scenes in many of these new Haitian movies, I have developed a deep passion, if not an obsession, with this new Haitian art form.
As these new Haitian filmmakers fall in love with what they do, so too will the Haitian public who consume them.
 "They're ready", says Mora Etienne, "I am confident that my team will pull through."
Le Prix A Payer stars, Singer Misty Jean, Marson Sam, Louise Dartiguenave, Isaac Antoine, Darah D. Valville and many more. The entire cast will be updated on Belfim as time goes on.
