The Agronomist, a Haitian Documentary, will be screening tonight, March 11 at 7:00PM at the African-American Film Festival of West Palm Beach Florida under a special theme "Africans In The Diaspora".

The Agronomist is a 2003 American documentary directed by Jonathan Demme about Jean Dominique, the Haitian radio personality, investigative journalist, and political activist who was assassinated in April 2000 in Haiti.

The West Palm Beach African-American Film Festival will be held at the Persson Rehearsal Hall in the Kravis Center’s Cohen Pavilion in West Palm Beach Florida.

Jean Dominique -- One of the best, ever--
This is too bad that Jean's life was taken away from him. He could have done so much more for Haiti. Typical, when something positive is happening to Haiti, we must destroy it all costs. Michelle Montas is doing a great job at keeping Jean Dominique's name alive. The movie was personally hard for me to watch as family members were mentioned and torture became alive.... Bernadette .
