You're probably wondering why we have Non-Haitian Actors, Hollywood movie stars, and Hollywood movie producers listed on Belfim.com The reason is simple! There are many Hollywood actors like Will Smith and Bruce Willis who play in movies with Haitian Actors There are Haitian filmmakers like Raoul Peck and Jean Claude La Marre  who produce movies outside of the Haitian community and they cast and crew consist of Hollywood and Non-Haitian Actors  Search our cast and crew list and see who's in there! Belfim has many purposes... We want you to know: Which movies are being produced within the Haitian community Who's Haitian and who's not in those movies The Haitian actors, directors, and other crew members evolving within the Haitian community, both in Haiti and the Haitian diaspora. But much more than that, we really want you to know: Which Hollywood movies and which other foreign films out there have Haitian Actors in them Which crew member is Haitian in a Hollywood movie or other foreign film. The nane of Hollywood movie stars and other foreign actors who participate in non Haitian movies.  The only way for us to do that is to list those movies, actors, and crew members in our database. Adding these actors and movies in our Belfim Database serves many purposes: It allows us to have a complete filmography of the Haitians actors who are in the main stream movie market It helps you to support the Haitian actors and movie producers out there representing the Haitians in the main stream movie market. It helps you to know which movie you should spend your money on when you go to a movie theater. It helps you to know which movie to rent or buy with with your hard earned money. It gives you bragging rights... Next time someone mentions that movie name you can say... did you know there's a Haitian actor in that movie? It's a nice conversation starter at a barbecue... "Did you know that Whitney Houston is in a movie produced by a Haitian filmmaker? Did yo know that Oprah is in a movie with a famous Haitian writer? Search our cast and crew list and see who's in there! Basically we want to let the Hollywood producers know that adding Haitians to their cast will help them sell more DVDs and movie tickets. Adding this informaiton to Belfim is no easy task but we will continue to to our best to include all the actors and movies out who are linked to Haiti and the Haitian community.
