Haitian Filmmaker Kharméliaud Moise Remembers Mario Moretta
Following the passing of Haitian actor and filmmaker Mario Moretta on March 25, 2024, filmmaker Kharméliaud Moise shared his thoughts on the loss.

Reflecting on their time working together, Moise described Moretta as one of the most talented actors he had collaborated with.
"I got to know him well through life's ups and downs, and while he was far from the best person I've ever met, no one taught me more about life than he did," Moïse said. "I find it hard to believe that Mario is gone."
Moise also noted that Moretta "missed the film Onzième Commandement," implying a project the late actor never had the chance to complete.
Expressing his condolences, Kharméliaud Moise wished strength for Moretta's children and family as they navigate this difficult time.
