Haiti Actress Fabienne Colas Honored in Quebec, Canada

Fabienne Colas, actress of Haitian film Barikad and founder of Montreal's Black Film Festival, was honored with the Medal of the National Assembly Monday, 23 Feb 2015, for her dedication to the community.

Fabienne Colas and two other members of the Quebec black community, Noel Alexander, who has been president of the Jamaican association for 35 years and physicist, engineer and founder of RIRE 2000, were awarded during black history month.
